Chef Eve Orvis
Papa Warned Me is proud to introduce Chef Eve Orvis. She has been a sous chef in Chester County, Pennsylvania since 1972, working in the notable kitchens of Rose Tree Inn, Mendenhall Inn, and most recently, Dilworthtown Inn. She has embarked on her own as a personal chef in the idyllic surroundings of Perry County in Central PA.
Chef Eve graciously shares with all our Papa Warned Me clientele one of her best appetizer recipes. Her secret ingredient? Papa Warned Me's Grillin' and Dippin' Hot Pepper Butter. Chef Eve tells us, " I have found Grillin' and Dippin' Hot Pepper Butter to be a very diverse product, an excellent substitute for cayenne pepper, and a wonderful addition to many sauces."
Embarking on a culinary adventure, Chef Eve Orvis will be eating her way through the back streets and rural farmland of Italy as she researches the origins of some of the tastiest cuisine on the planet. We wish her Bon Voyage and look for her return later in 2011.
Papa's Scallops To-Die-For
Wrap partially cooked bacon around scallops
Broil 4 min.Dip broiled scallops in dipping sauce of 5 T. mayonnaise and 4 T. Hot Pepper Butter
